Application Support

Firstly we will help you make the right decision regarding course and University choice.

Whether this is through a meeting with our Academic Director or by arranging sessions with tutors from Oxford and/or Cambridge in your considered subject areas. We will help you come to an informed conclusion on one of the most important decisions you will ever make.

You will receive a full introduction to your Programme by your Programme Manager, along with your tutor, Form Mentor and our Academic Director. Throughout your time with us, they will be here to help.

One-To-One Tutoring

Each session in your Medicine Programme will be led by a highly qualified tutor who will guide you through the material. The one-to-one sessions provide an opportunity to focus on areas of difficulty and topics that you find challenging. Your tutor will have successfully navigated the application process and will be able to offer the appropriate support and guidance.

Honed in one-to-one support with your expert Medicine Oxbridge tutor – all with homework and reports.

Comprehensive Materials

Intensive Courses

Our full-day intensive courses cover everything you could need to know about your medicine application to Oxbridge. You will take an in-depth look at crafting a compelling Personal Statement, preparing for the admissions test like BMAT, and acing the interview with a tutor who scored in the top 10%.

These sessions are highly interactive and will allow you to ask any lingering questions to your course tutor both in group sessions and individually.

Enrichment Seminars

Demonstrating wide reading is one of the notoriously challenging requirements for an Oxbridge application. Our Enrichment Seminars are designed to help you meet this criterion.

This requirement entails is displaying interest and passion for your chosen subject. Starting from the first week of the Programme, you will be invited to attend medicine Enrichment Seminar sessions where you will be exposed to your subject beyond the standard curriculum – this is exactly what Admissions tutors are looking for.

Develop a deeper understanding of your subject and go beyond your curriculum, as you would at Oxbridge.

Forms Group & Mentoring

Every student on our Programmes will join a form that is run by a Form Mentor. These mentors run fortnightly sessions in which they support their Form with general aspects of their application and using their resources effectively.

If your are ever struggling with your Programme, you can book unlimited 1-1 mentoring sessions with your Form Mentor. The Form Mentor is there to make sure each student is giving themselves the best chance of succeeding in their application.

You’ll join your Medicine Academic Head’s form group for guidance and unlimited mentoring sessions.

Personalised Portal

The UniAdmissions Portal is your link between all of the support and resources offered in your Programme and you. You’ll find everything included in your Programme available in your personalised Portal account.

As a student, this is your Programme hub. As a parent, you can track your child’s progress through the Programme and receive regular reports.

You’ll get access upon enrolment to a Programme.

A personalised online platform which will guide you through your Programme as a student, or help you track your child’s progress as a parent.

Head Start Seminars

Students applying more than 12 months ahead of time will have access to our Head Start Medicine seminars, which are geared toward students who are in the early stages of the application process. These seminars provide a solid foundation for your future education and allow you to fully benefit from your UniAdmissions Programme.

Sessions are created specifically for our Head Start students and focus on topics that help establish a solid foundation for your education and teach valuable life skills.

12Hrs Head Start Tutoring

One-to-one sessions provide a highly personalised form of preparation focused directly on your specific needs. Head Start students receive access to extra hours of one-to-one sessions with their expert tutor to ensure they do not have any weak areas when going into their application year.

Students on our Head Start Programmes will get additional hours of one-to-one tutoring time along with their Head Start seminars.

What's the difference between the Oxbridge and Standard Medicine Programmes?

In terms of the hours of tuition, one-to-one sessions, and places on Intensive Courses everything is the same between the two Programmes.

The difference is with the Oxbridge Medicine Programme; you will have a place on the Oxbridge Interview Intensive Course to ensure you have the skills necessary for an Oxbridge Interview. As well you will receive a copy of our Ultimate Oxbridge Interview Guide book.
