Our Tutors

UniAdmissions is an Oxbridge preparation school and tutoring agency that helps students with their applications to competitive universities and courses like Oxford/Cambridge (referred to as Oxbridge), Medical and Law Schools.

We also offer support by running intensive one-day courses both for individual students and also in schools. We help with personal statements, admissions test (e.g. UCAT, BMAT, LNAT, TSA) and also interviews.

UniAdmissions offer Programmes which are a full curriculum designed to help you get the offer of your dreams from the moment you enrol. It offers you all the resources and expert tutors to help you throughout your application process.

We are the Oxbridge experts, we can help you triple your chances of success. We provide you with the necessary resources from the hand of expert tutors who will support you throughout your process to achieve your dream offer.

We work with a maximum of 500 students each year across all of our Programmes to ensure we can provide the best support suited for their particular needs. We also abide by a selective criteria to the students that we work with.

Our Programmes have a structured syllabus, however, we tweak elements of the syllabus so the student is able to gain the most out of our support.

By attending one of our Open Days, you would be able to gain a better understanding of what we do here, be taken through a stage of the application process, have a panel of our experts and tutors present key information on the process and our Programmes, and you will be able to take part in a Q&A session.

Open days at UniAdmissions are each Saturday at 2:00pm UK time.

Pop your email in below to get a reminder when we get started!

UniAdmissions is the leading Oxbridge admissions company because:

  1. Our Resources are the best in the industry.
  2. All our tutors are Oxbridge graduates/students who scored in the top 10% nationally.
  3. We have a success rate which is triple the national average.

UniAdmissions courses are specialised and personalised courses that will help you understand your subject perfectly with individual lessons with homework and reports, intensive courses covering the key components of your application, comprehensive materials, finely-tuned resources in a range of mediums to help you practice and learn, enrichment supervisions, that will help you develop a deeper understanding of your subject and go beyond your curriculum.

First and foremost, we assess whether the potential student has the right academic capabilities and profile to be realistically accepted to study at Oxford or Cambridge. In specific terms, this means you will be aiming to achieve at least 3 As at A-Level, and achieved mainly 8s and 9s at GCSE.

Secondly, we assess whether the student is capable and willing to put in the time required to create a strong application for Oxbridge.

Finally, we assess the student’s attitude and reasoning behind applying to Oxford or Cambridge. This is one of our most important considerations.

If a student has below-average (but still realistic) grades for Oxford and Cambridge, but the correct attitude, we would consider accepting them onto our Programme. Unfortunately, if the converse is the case, it’s unlikely the student would be accepted onto the Programme.

You can find more information about our Programme Entry Requirements on our Admissions Criteria page.

Contacting UniAdmissions is quite simple, you can go to the website uniadmissions.co.uk and schedule a consultation, another option is to call our telephone number 0208 068 0438, or ask for any information by emailing [email protected].

Once you have enrolled on a Programme with us, we will invite you to an onboarding session and begin to arrange your tutors.

This session will introduce you to important members of our team who will be supporting you along your journey with UniAdmissions. We will also show you how to get the most out of your Programme and how to use everything that is included.

We do have ideal start times at points throughout the year, however, the syllabus can be adapted to suit your particular start time if you are accepted onto the Programme. Our Admissions Consultants can help you understand the Programme timeline in your specific case – all you need to do is ask.

The duration of the Programmes depends on each student, the number of hours the student has paid for and how he/she wants to distribute them. The average duration ranges from 6 to 8 months.

The intensive courses only have two dates, in case you are unable to attend one, there is the possibility of taking the other date. Another option is to ask for videos, as some of the intensive course sessions are recorded.

In order for students to get the most out of their Programme, it is essential that they engage fully with the support available to them.

When we talk about an engaged Programme student, they have fulfilled the following requirements:

  • They have completed at least 100 questions on their Portal account.
  • They have attended at least 5 Enrichment Seminars.
  • They have completed 80% of their one-to-one tutoring sessions.

UniAdmissions is committed to giving the very best service to every student. Our talented tutors are the key to the excellent service we pride ourselves on, passing on not only their expertise, but also their enthusiasm to inspire the next generation to succeed.

All tutors are either current senior students, recent graduates or from a professional background. Our selection process ensures only the best tutors work for us, in roles most suited to their skill-sets.

UniAdmissions assigns you a tutor, who you will then contact via email to agree on how you will communicate and work with them.

In case you are unable to contact your tutor and 48hrs have passed, contact the Programme Manager, discuss the situation, and he/she will help you to solve the problem.

It is important to UniAdmissions that both the tutor and the student are comfortable, so if you have any problems, please contact the Programme Manager, to explain the situation you have with the tutor. We are happy to change your tutors an unlimited number of times until you are satisfied.

If you’re still unhappy with your Programme, we offer a risk-free cooling-off period in which you can cancel if you meet our Terms and Conditions.

Of course, we can assign you two tutors to discuss subjects or university questions, but remember that any question sessions you take will use hours from your total available sessions.

UniAdmissions has the possibility to contact another tutor for any extra advice you may need, but remember that the sessions you take will be deducted from the sessions you have already paid for.

Our tutors work at any time that is convenient for you including weekends and evenings. As soon as you’ve booked, we will match you with subject specific tutors that are best suited to your needs. They will then call/email you to confirm the time and location of the first session within 48 hours of booking.

Absolutely, and we’d encourage you to do so.

Make sure you give your tutor enough notice (at least 5 days) for them to prepare the appropriate materials.

The Portal

School Support

Payments and Refunds

The Preparation Portal is where you will find all of the support and resources for your Programme.

You can think of the Portal as the hub of all the materials included within your Programme. If you are ever looking for a relevant book, an online course, course dates or anything along those lines, the Portal is very likely to be your answer.

You can also use the Portal to get in touch with our team at any point.

Possibly it is because you are in a private/hidden/incognito mode window, or you have an ad blocker activated, which makes it impossible for the portal window to open.

If you have checked this and are still having problems, please contact the Programme Manager, to resolve the problem.

Inside the student portal you can find all the resources, links, guides, past papers and books you need, remember that on the 1st day you were given your login to enter the portal, in case you don’t know it, contact the Programme Manager, they will be able to help you.

Firstly, don’t worry! All the files are checked regularly to ensure they are functional. Due to the way some .pdf files are coded – some devices may not open them properly. If you have any problems, then try opening on another device e.g. laptop, tablet, phone. If that still doesn’t work, then please download adobe acrobat reader from https://get.adobe.com/uk/reader.

If you have done all of the above, please check if you are viewing the files in the ‘preview’ window in the Dropbox browser? If you use the Download direct button (top right hand side), and then open the pdf from your computer, this should resolve this issue.

If all of the above doesn’t work, contact us.

If you would like to purchase extra hours of tuition you can purchase these directly from the Portal. Just select the ‘Upgrade’ tab and choose how many hours you would like to purchase – available in 10, 15 or 20 hours.

If you would like to purchase a different amount of hours, contact our team of Admissions Consultants who will be able to help you out – call 0208 068 0438
